DYU D3F 14 Inch Mini Folding Electric Bike

Bought after doing lots of research, and very happy with it. It fits in the boot of my car (Ford Ecosport), and rides nice. I have taken it on a 6 mile road trip, and it still had 3 bars of battery left, and around the multi use track around Blickling Hall, park dirt/gravel track through the woods and fairly hilly. This was about its limits, but considering the price and small 14 inch wheels quite impressive. Seat comfy, I bought a longer seat stem from Amazon as the standard one is only 30cm long, a 40cm one is better and safer for me (I am 5 foot 10, and the original one was over its maximum safety height for me, it was under £10) Power assist is good, the throttle is a bonus though technically illegal in the UK. Brakes work well, nothing bad to say about it at all. If your used to fold up bikes with small wheels it will be familiar. Compared to full sized mountain bikes it can feel a bit unstable at speed, but this is down to the small 14 inch wheels. If you add it to your basket and wait a day or so, I got a 10% discount so even cheaper.

This bike really struggles to go up hill, im 5"1" in height, I weigh 8stone 4lbs and it really struggles. However the bike is exactly described in the add. I bought it for train journeys and to be fair it's perfect I just didn't consider the steep hill before I purchased it. I really wanted to receive my free front basket but that never came either. Customer service is excellent via email, I would definitely buy off the company again. Being disabled I do however need a extra light bike to get me up them hills. If any trials are available please do not hesitate to contact me, daily rider in all weather conditions

Quite heavy , but good

I bought this bike due to the discounted price and good reviews on u tube.
On first inspection it was obvious that the pedal adjust was not working.
After contacting DYU via email the tech department advised the issue was with the tension adjustment to the chain being too tight.
I would comment that this does not get mentioned in the instruction booklet.
Once adjusted and after a few rides I can say that this is fun bike to ride.
It takes slopes well if you pedal and use the throttle together.
I did about 25km on one ride and still had 2 lights showing.
The criss control is a nice option to have too.
Very pleased with this purchase so far.

Only regret is not buying 1 before and buying more of them lol 😆.. am seriously thinking gif getting the hole family 1 ..
