DYU T1 20 Inch Foldable Electric Bike

I’ve been using the DYU T1 for two weeks now and I’m honestly very impressed! It’s a solid and reliable e-bike — perfect for commuting, errands, or just casual rides. The folding design makes it super convenient for storage and transport, especially if you live in a smaller space like I do.
The pedal assist is smooth, and the motor power feels strong enough for hills and longer rides. The ride is comfortable, the build feels sturdy, and I’ve had no issues at all so far. The battery life is also great — I’ve done several trips without needing to charge right away.
Overall, I’m really happy with this e-bike. It’s worth the price and has made my daily routine a lot easier. Highly recommended!

This is a awesome bike which was very easy to put together once out of the box and the first time I took it out I was amazed at the performance and it made cycling so much easier and more enjoyable.
It folds very easily and I’ve folded it up and fitted it into the boot of two cars with ease, it rides very good and is quite fast for a 250w motor and the Shimano gears and disc brakes are fantastic it’s ideal for around town or even further riding I’ve even taken it over rough terrain which its really not made for but it handled it very well even though it was a little bit bumpy as it hasn’t got any suspension other than the saddle .
I love the look and styling of it it’s very different from any other fold up e-bike on the market and the build quality is great and as you can probably tell I’m very impressed and pleased with my purchase and if you have been looking to buy one and are in two minds then all I can say is just get one you will be impressed too.

I am very disappointed with my experience, especially because I actually like the bike itself and it works well when everything is correct.

The bike arrived with several items missing: no charger, no throttle, only one battery key instead of two, and no pedals. I contacted DYU and, after my first complaint, they sent me another box containing the charger and pedals. However, I still did not receive the second battery key or the throttle.

My father eventually bought a throttle separately and fitted it himself because I did not want to keep complaining and waiting for missing parts.

Unfortunately, after only one week of using the bike, I tried to remove the battery for the first time so I could charge it separately. After more than an hour trying to understand why the battery would not come out properly, we discovered another problem.

The battery guide/rail should be secured by screws, but one of the screws is completely missing and the other one was extremely loose and almost completely out. This appears to have caused the battery to sit incorrectly and has already created visible rubbing/scratch marks on the battery rails.

This is particularly concerning because this is not simply a cosmetic accessory — it is part of the system that holds and guides the battery. After only one week of normal use, I should not be discovering missing and loose screws on such an important part of a brand-new electric bike.

I now need to find the correct replacement screw, and I am concerned about whether this could affect the battery mounting or the safe operation of the bike.

The customer service team treated me well when I made my first complaint, and I appreciated that. However, when I contacted them again regarding the remaining missing parts, I did not receive another response.

The bike itself is nice, comfortable and works well, which makes this situation even more frustrating. The problem is the quality control before dispatch. A new bike should not arrive missing the charger, pedals, throttle and one battery key, and then after only one week of use have a missing screw and another almost completely loose on the battery guide.

I really wanted to give this bike a very positive review, but DYU needs to significantly improve its pre-delivery checks and after-sales follow-up. I hope they contact me and provide the correct replacement screw, the missing second battery key and a proper solution for the battery rail issue.
